KMK Presents At Seminar On Paralegal Ethics

Kohner, Mann & Kailas, S.C., paralegal Billie J. Jentsch recently presented at a seminar organized by the Institute for Paralegal Education, a division of the National Business Institute. The seminar was devoted to ethical issues that paralegals commonly encounter, including protecting client information, addressing and avoiding mistakes, and responding to unethical conduct. In the presentation, Ms. Jentsch applied her nearly 30 years of experience in the legal industry to provide best-practice guidelines for fellow paralegal professionals on the ethical issue involved in protecting privileged and confidential information, how to avoid and address even small slip-ups, and the best ways to respond when encountering unethical behavior. Ms. Jentsch also answered questions from participants on ethical best practices.
