From numerous public health measures to ongoing market turmoil, the coronavirus and COVID-19 continue to take a major toll on populations and businesses in the U.S., Canada, and all around the world. This includes clients, colleagues, and families of Kohner, Mann & Kailas, S.C. (KMK). KMK has been preparing for this situation and adjusting to it as it unfolds.
KMK established a comprehensive continuity strategy many years ago that is designed to mitigate interruptions to business, making it possible for our attorneys, paralegals, and staff to work remotely, with cloud-based access to all files featuring the same protection and security for client information available within the office walls.
While we are working from home, KMK expects to continue servicing its clients with minimal disruption. Emails are being received and responded to as usual. Voicemail messages are being reviewed and addressed. Phone calls are being exchanged and we are using web-based video conferencing when needed. Our attorneys are proceeding with their federal and state court activities as electronic filings and phone and video hearings are being used to keep the legal system moving forward.
The situation remains extremely fluid. KMK continues to adapt its plans and protocols to comply with federal, state, and local edicts while making the safety of its people, its clients, and others with whom the firm works its top priority.
KMK appreciates the patience and understanding being shown while we all work through these unprecedented circumstances.
