Amanda is a Paralegal in the firm’s Litigation Department, assisting in all facets of litigation, from the initial client consultation to post-trial appeals. She supports the efforts of KMKSC’s attorneys in matters including discovery, case management, drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs, legal research, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining KMKSC, Amanda gained substantial experience managing cases, maintaining court records and preparing and filing documents electronically according to state and federal statutes, specializing in Creditor’s Rights law and all facets of collection law. Amanda’s professional background includes creating and maintaining working relationships with clients, government agencies, the public and other organizations.
Amanda has a degree in Political Science with an emphasis on law, a minor in geography and a Peace Studies Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her fields of study concentrated on American government, constitutional law, international law and environmental law. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Amanda was an intern at the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors Office and appeared at County Board and departmental meetings assisting the press, public, Board members, and staff.
